The bumper is made of shock-absorbing polyethylene which means there is no metal for children to hurt themselves on, or that little tongues can get stuck to!
The handrails are of the same material, so considerably less strength is needed to pull the sleigh than if they were made of wood or steel.
The Yukon is made of hardwood, with a very special technique and of a material called babiche - split cowhide sinew lacing. The babiche is used to attach the rear boards and to close the back and side openings.

The Yukon is ideal for babies and children aged 0 to 8 years old. It is designed to accommodate children with special needs, for example. It can carry up to two passengers.
